OECD Report: Integrating Responsible Business Conduct in Public Procurement

01 February 2021

The "Integrating Responsible Business Conduct in Public Procurement" report presents a survey conducted in 2020 with public procurement policy makers and purchasing centers of countries that adhere to the OECD Council Recommendation on Public Procurement and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
Our society is increasingly aware of environmental and human rights risks in global supply chains. OECD members and OECD tool adherents who incorporate RBC objectives and risk-based supply chain due diligence into their public procurement systems promote responsible business behavior and they make an overall positive contribution to economic, environmental and social progress.

The report encourages policy makers and practitioners in public procurement and RBC to collaborate with all relevant stakeholders, drawing on good practices from across policy areas.
