Launch of the OECD public consultation on the draft Recommendation on Governments and RBC Promotion

The OECD has launched the public consultation on the draft OECD Recommendation on the Role of Government in promoting Responsible Business Conduct
The Civil society and all interested stakeholders are invited to send their contributions in word format, in English, French and Spanish to RBC@oecd.org
The text focuses on the role played by Governments in driving, supporting and promoting responsible business practices through specific policies measures and interventions and assists the Governments and other public authorities to establish effective RBC enabling conditions related to:
- Elaborating legal and regulatory framework;
- Structuring policies and measures to encourage RBC in all relevant policy areas;
- Promoting the governments’ role as an economic actor within its commercial activities;
- Involving all stakeholder in the development and implementation of RBC policies;
- Establishing measures and facilitate the access to remedies.
