Launch of the OECD Inclusive Platform on Due Diligence Policy Cooperation
OECD - Paris, 17th of March 2025
The OECD Inclusive Platform on Due Diligence Policy Cooperation brings together policy makers from around the world to discuss effective design, implementation and uptake of responsible business conduct (RBC) due diligence policy and accompanying measures. This is the first meeting of the Inclusive Platform.
The platform was created in response to the OECD 2023 Ministerial Declaration on Promoting and Enabling Responsible Business Conduct in the Global Economy [OECD/LEGAL/0489], which called on the OECD to assist with strengthening cooperation and coordination on due diligence policies.
The platform aims to:
- facilitate knowledge-sharing and cross-learning on policies on due diligence and accompanying measures;
- assist with strengthening cooperation on due diligence policy to, where possible, minimise policy and market-based divergences in design, monitoring, implementation, and/or enforcement; and
- support evidence-based policy making through sharing research and data on the uptake and impact of due diligence policy and relevant examples from other policy areas.
