European Commission – Framework contract for the Recognition of equivalence of supply due diligence schemes

 The European Commission is calling for tenders to set up a framework contract for service provision to the European Commission in assessing forthcoming applications from supply chain due diligence schemes to be recognised under the Regulation (EU) 2017/821 (“Conflict minerals”).

The deadline for submissions is 4 October.

 OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict – Affected and High – Risk Areas

European Commission has made available translations of the OECD's guidance on responsible minerals (on which Regulation (EU) 2018/821 in part is based), in all the official languages of the EU.
