The 2020 European summit on the 2020 SDGs will go online from the 26 to the 30 of October 2020
Friday 23 October 2020
CSR Europe, the European network for sustainability and corporate responsibility, is launching "The European Pact for a Sustainable Industry" through the European Summit on SDGs 2020 for an equal and socially inclusive transition from the 26 to 30 of October.
More than 200 high-profile speakers, recognized as sustainability leaders, will attend the 55 digital sessions and will offer insights on specific topics, from sustainable finance and the circular economy to supply chain due diligence.
Since the Covid-19 crisis, the world seems to have become a divided and more isolated place.
The moment urgently calls for an increased cooperation between sectors and across the continent.
CSR Europe invites the European Union policy makers, business leaders and industrial federations to join the European Pact for the development of a sustainable industry in line with the Paris Agreement, the Green Deal, the industrial strategy of the European Union and the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
To pursue the achievement of all SDGs objectives and give substance to sustainability, it's needed to cooperate on a "High impact partnership to rebuild better".
The online event will cross frontiers to bring all decision makers together to stand and face a common problem.
