It is now possible to register to the 9th OECD Global Forum on Responsible Business Conduct, that will be held virtually on 15-17 June 2021

Created in 2013, the Global Forum on Responsible Business Conduct is the annual flagship OECD event on RBC. The Forum has become the leading event for governments, businesses, trade unions and civil society to promote international dialogue on RBC and contribute to the effective implementation of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. This event is also an opportunity to raise public awareness of the unique global implementation mechanism on RBC launched by the OECD – National Contact Points for RBC (NCPs) – that support access to remedy on a global scale by providing a platform for mediation and conciliation.
The Forum, this year, will explore what business conduct is needed today in order to solve the challenges of tomorrow and whether the RBC standards and tools are fit to that purpose and to integrate responsible business thinking into policies, action and ownership, bring remedy to people, meet the Sustainable Development Goals and tackle climate change.
Overcoming the global pandemic can be a turning point to address sustainability and resilience more concretely, through deeper, more effective and more ambitious collaborative action to ignite, lead and advocate sustainable change in the world.
Policymakers Roundtable
Held in lead-up to the OECD Forum on Responsible Business Conduct, the Policymakers Roundtable on Regulatory Developments concerning Due Diligence for Responsible Business Conduct (RBC) will take place on the 14th June and will convene policy makers from across economies – in virtual format – to discuss and explore key developments and updates on regulatory developments with respect to due diligence for RBC, including dimensions of environmental supply chain due diligence and how RBC can be fostered amongst SMEs.
