ASVIS: events for the sustainable development of the Country and of the whole Planet

 Rome, 18 May 2023

The Sustainable Development Festival, running from 8 to 24 May, offers a rich programme of events organized by the Alliance and its Working Groups, created in collaboration with local administrations and bodies.

Naples, Bologna, Milan, Turin and Rome are the stages for this seventh edition of the Festival entitled "Sustainability keeps the future alight" which stimulates the debate on the actions to be taken to achieve sustainable development of our Country, in the awareness that taking this path is necessary for a reasonable future for the entire Planet. At the basis of everything there is the promotion of the 2030 Agenda, the action plan signed in 2015 by the Governments of the 193 UN Member Countries which indicates the 17 Objectives to pursue, common intentions on fundamental issues for planning a possible future. Poverty, hunger, climate change affect all countries and all individuals on the planet, no one excluded.

The final stage will take place on 23 and 24 May in Rome, and will host a debate on gender stereotypes. The reflections emerging from the event will be presented to the institutions and the steps to be taken will be discussed so that the European Union and Italy pursue integral sustainable development.
