ISTAT published the "2021 SDGS REPORT - STATISTICAL INFORMATION FOR THE 2030 AGENDA IN ITALY"
Rome, 06 September 2021
On last 9 August ISTAT published the "2021 SDGS REPORT - STATISTICAL INFORMATION FOR THE 2030 AGENDA IN ITALY" offering a detailed analysis of the 354 statistical measures for 135 indicators aimed at monitoring the 2030 Agenda for our Country.
The 2021 Report generally portrays Italy hit by the pandemic as a country facing up to widening gaps in terms of inequality and exclusion: the digital divide immediately translated into a social and cultural divide. The visible effects are an increase in poverty and a weakening of social capital regarding training and education, in the context of already significant delays.
Furthermore, this 2021 edition contains a first mapping of the correspondences between the SDGs and the 6 Missions envisaged by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR): a capillary analysis led to the classification of each SDGs indicator in correspondence with a PNRR Mission.
